This week our team layed down the first layer of tyres as the base of our dome/deck and rammed them with clay and sand. We used the dumpy to get everything level and first dug out the top soil so the tyres had a solid base.
We decided to do this job first before the piles because then we can get the height of the deck matching the height of 2 layers of tyres. This is an alteration to our work planner, but will hopefully work out better.
