Frame it or break it

So today the team nutted out how the frame is going to work and support the sandpit with its shaping. The team believes that this will be the hardest part of the whole project as there are so many important variables to manage and control so that the sandpit can hold the added weight of +-20 percent over the existing weight estimate. The team have been thinking of how we can attach the outer frame together as there are lots of little pieces of wood that need to be affixed together. First we had to work out the crazy angles that we need and then we have come up with using a combination of truss nailing plates and nails ( both materials will be galvanized for weather proofing)

The images below show the outlining for the frames to fit within. This part has to be very accurate so that the frames can be as identical as possible, this would ensure that the frames line up on both sides of the car for a geometric shape.

And of course always use the safety equipment that is needed for the job
