The final week of the term, team 2 were joining the top planks of the bench together with a tongue and groove joint as seen in the attached photo. This was successfully done and planed down to thickness. The underside of each plank facing inwards was then routered to accomodate the board for the well in the bench top. Our biggest problem at present is the storage of the pieces. Therefore we are keeping everything in a kit set form for as long as possible. Early next term we hope to invite the teachers from Whenuakite Country Kids Preschool in for viewing of our progress. Group 1 are slacking. Come on guys.
