Kia Ora,

Today we finished the frame with 20mm by 40mm timber using Gorilla Grip Adhesive, followed by applying screws for extra strength and support. We first used a ratchet screwdriver but that was tiring so we sat down, drank some good quality BCITO water courtesy of Jack, discussed a solution and we concluded that it would better to use the drill. [end of exaggeration] This just made the process quicker and economized our use of time. Finally, we glued and temporarily nailed our arches to the treated wood to keep it in place while we wait for the glue to harden on that. In the next blog we'll be bending our 4mm thick plywood sheets across the arches! Fingers crossed it works out well. I encourage everyone to continue to watching out for our blogs as they'll be posted nearly everyday this week and if you've missed a blog it's as easy as clicking "older" to go back in time.
