Howz It Guys

With the crew working hard throughout the holidays encountering a couple of issues. There were a few tweaks that needed to be tended too, the biggest issue was the crack. With the first ply not bending according to plan and snapping we had to reconsider our options, we thought that maybe if we steam pressed the plywood we would have an easier time bending it round. With that in mind we got to work with far less issues using the new method. With everything running so smoothly, we were able to bend all plywood sheets over completing the basic shape of the sub! We specifically bent our first plywood sheet over the center of the frame because we had doubts that it would not be flexible enough to form the sharp curve without snapping. We knew if it snapped, it wouldn't be a issue because the top segment of the plywood sheet was planned to be removed for the conning tower.
