After announcing the winners of our drawing competition (Kids Rock) the team here at Boys' High went straight into planning. before we put pen to paper though we put three aspects in place that if we abide by them our plans and the end result of this playhouse will be successful. those three aspects are budgeting, team work and execution. So with those three aspects taken into consideration the planning process begun. We had all sorts of crazy and interesting ideas, maybe some a little bit to crazy. As a team we thought that a brain storm will be most effective strategy to start with for our first stages of the playhouse, so we threw down all things that relate to a castle. Here are our initial ideas!

But the question is of course, is how on earth are we going to come up with the sort of money we need. ? Well that was simple, nothing but a smartly dressed team with good manners and the willing to do anything attitude is how we have done it. After liaising with Mitre 10 Mega, our friends just next-door (literally) we managed to discuss a great deal! . which is a huge tick in our books and that was for everything required for the playhouse. The team here at Rotorua Boys' High just want to say a huge thank you to Mitre 10 Mega especially Andrew the manger, without you and your team at Mitre 10 this would never have been possible. Words can not express how thankful we are. And to our Building teacher Miss Wallis we would like to say thank you as well, for helping us with some costs, so we could meet the financial requirements. like I said it's simple, nothing but a smartly dressed team with good manners and the willing to do anything attitude is how we got the ball rolling. To all the schools competing in this competition that are struggling to get funds for their playhouse try our three easy steps. Dress smart, Have good manners and have a willing to do anything attitude and you'll be amazed what the outcome can be.
