Team two has started to plane the rough sawn timbers for the bench top and legs. We had a major issue with the dust extractor system clogging with all the shavings. The photo shows Daniel and Jade cleaning the system (this had to be done on several occasions). We followed the planing phase with docking of legs to length on the drop saw, checkout photos (note the wearing of safety gear and cramping of wood to bench).
We commenced the actual construction phase this week with the setting out and cutting of some of the dovetail joints (between the legs and rails). 5
